# Steam Crave Titan V2, four cells and a 41 mm RDTA decoded

> The Steam Crave Titan V2 explained, four 18650 cells in pairs, variable voltage up to 8.4 V, a 41 mm RDTA and coils in series or in parallel.

Search for “titan v2” from a British connection and most of the first page is about a gaming controller adapter, with a vape shop or two squeezed in between. On a site about clouds, the name means one thing only, the **Steam Crave Titan V2**, a combo that pairs a four cell 18650 mod with a 41 mm rebuildable atomiser. Shop listings repeat its 300 W and its oversized tanks without explaining what the format asks of its cells and its builds.

## Steam Crave Titan V2, what the combo actually contains

The **Steam Crave Titan V2** brings together the Titan V2 mod, powered by four 18650 cells sold separately for a maximum output of 300 W, and the Aromamizer Titan V2 RDTA, a 41 mm rebuildable atomiser with a postless dual coil deck. Unless stated otherwise, the figures in this guide come from the manufacturer's own product page.

The mod sets its voltage between 1.0 and 8.4 V, even though some retailer listings give 0.1 V as the lower limit. The atomiser runs a 20 ml tank, or a 32 ml one thanks to the long glass and extension chimney supplied in the box.

UK rules limit the tank of a nicotine vaping product to 2 ml, cap nicotine e-liquid at 20 mg/ml and restrict its refill bottles to 10 ml. The 20 ml and 32 ml quoted for the Aromamizer Titan V2 sit far above that ceiling, and none of the listings consulted for this article showed a 2 ml version. A tank of that size is therefore only for nicotine free use.

## Four 18650 cells in pairs, what the 8.4 V ceiling reveals

Steam Crave describes its four 18650 cells as wired “in parallel / series”. The maximum output voltage explains the arrangement, because two fully charged lithium-ion cells in series give exactly 8.4 V (2 x 4.2 V). The cells therefore work in pairs.

With four cells fitted, two pairs share the current in parallel, while inside each pair the same current flows through both cells. At an identical setting, moving from two cells to four halves the current each cell has to supply.

The mod also runs on two cells only, and the manufacturer shows where they sit in the battery bay. It publishes no output figure for that configuration, and the 300 W rating applies to the full set of four.

At 300 W, a pack built from two pairs at 7.4 V nominal draws roughly 40 A in total (300 / 7.4 = 40.5), which means around 20 A per cell before any circuit losses.

## Choosing 18650 cells for the Steam Crave Titan V2

The figure that decides is the continuous discharge rating published by the cell manufacturer, not the capacity in mAh printed large on the wrap. Our guide on [how to choose an 18650 battery](/uk/best-18650-battery-vaping/) works through that trade-off between capacity and discharge.

Four cells also demand real discipline. They should share brand, reference and capacity, be bought and charged together, and never sit alongside an older cell, because the weakest cell in a series pair ends up pushed beyond what it can deliver.

Charging all four at once on an external four bay charger helps keep them level. Our [vape battery charger guide](/uk/vape-battery-charger-guide/) sets out what a suitable unit looks like.

## A variable voltage mod where output is a calculation

The **Titan V2 mod** has no wattage mode. You set a voltage in 0.1 V steps with two buttons, and the TFT screen shows the resulting output alongside the resistance, the battery level, a puff counter and a lock indicator.

That output follows a simple formula, voltage squared divided by resistance. With 8.4 V at most, reaching 300 W requires a resistance of about 0.235 ohm (8.4 x 8.4 / 300). The higher the resistance, the lower the reachable output, across a stated working range of 0.1 to 3.0 ohms.

Its listed protections cover low voltage, short circuits including at the atomiser, over current, over discharge, overheating and reversed cells.

## The Aromamizer Titan V2 RDTA, 41 mm wide and three heights

The atomiser measures 41 mm across and stands 76 mm tall in its 32 ml form, 64.5 mm with the 20 ml tank and 49.5 mm in RDA mode. Even in that last form the manufacturer lists 4 ml of liquid in reserve, again above the UK limit of 2 ml.

Filling happens from the top. One ring shuts the liquid feed to the wicks while you refill, a second ring sets the side airflow, and the 810 drip tip has a wide bore.

## Building coils in series or parallel on the Titan V2

The postless deck fitted as standard takes two coils, wired either in parallel or in series. On a variable voltage mod, that choice directly changes the output available, as two identical 0.4 ohm coils show.

### In parallel, resistance is halved

Two 0.4 ohm coils in parallel give 0.2 ohm. At 8.4 V the formula would exceed 350 W (70.56 / 0.2 = 352.8), beyond the stated 300 W. The 300 W ceiling arrives at around 7.7 V, which makes this the configuration that uses the mod in full.

### In series, resistance is doubled

The same coils in series give 0.8 ohm. The mod can then send them only about 88 W at most (70.56 / 0.8 = 88.2), with the voltage turned all the way up. A series build therefore suits a more moderate output.

### The dual mesh deck, combo only

The kit adds a second deck for two mesh strips, the Titan Dual Mesh Deck, which is not supplied with the atomiser sold on its own. The 316L stainless steel strips are sold separately.

## Size, intended user and care with four cells

At 91.4 x 41 x 53.6 mm for the mod alone, the **Titan V2** reaches 167.4 mm tall with the 32 ml tank, 155.9 mm with the 20 ml one and 140.9 mm in RDA mode. It is a desktop setup aimed at vapers already comfortable with rebuildables and cell management, not a first purchase.

Four cells together store more energy than a single or dual cell mod. No cell with a torn or lifting wrap should go in, and spare cells travel in a rigid case, because contact with a conductive object can release toxic gas or even cause an explosion, as retailer warnings point out.

Respect the polarity markings in the bay every time, even though the mod is protected against reversed cells. All of these habits are covered in our guide to [vape battery safety](/uk/vape-battery-safety/).

## FAQ

Five questions come up often around this combo, and shop listings rarely answer them.

### Is the Titan Advanced Combo a Steam Crave Titan V2?

No. The Titan Advanced Combo pairs the Aromamizer Titan V2 RDTA with the Titan PWM V1.5 mod, the previous generation. The “V2” in its name refers to the atomiser rather than the mod, and V1.5 specifications do not carry over to the Titan V2 mod.

### Can the Aromamizer Titan V2 go on another mod?

The atomiser screws onto the spring loaded 510 connector of the Titan V2 mod, which makes it compatible with other 510 mods. You still need a top plate wide enough for a 41 mm atomiser, and a mod able to drive a low resistance dual coil build.

### What kind of e-liquid suits an RDTA of this size?

Dual coil direct lung builds generally get on well with liquids high in vegetable glycerine, which are thicker and produce denser vapour. A very thin liquid feeds the wicks faster, so the juice flow setting needs watching.

### How do you fill the Aromamizer Titan V2 without leaks?

The manufacturer describes a six step sequence. Close the liquid feed, close the airflow, unscrew the top cap, fill through the large port, screw it back, reopen the liquid feed, then reopen the airflow to your preferred setting.

### How long does the Titan V2 mod let the fire button stay pressed?

The manufacturer sets the maximum puff time at 10 seconds. Beyond that the mod cuts out by itself, a protection that stops a button jammed in a bag from heating the coils indefinitely.

## What to take away from the Steam Crave Titan V2

Read through its cells, the Steam Crave Titan V2 comes down to a few clear values, four 18650 cells working in series pairs, a voltage adjustable from 1.0 to 8.4 V, a 300 W maximum that needs a low resistance, and a 41 mm atomiser whose capacity is well above the UK tank limit of 2 ml.

The sensible approach is to start from the build you want, calculate the output you can actually reach, then pick four matched cells whose discharge rating covers that use with room to spare.

On a **Titan V2**, as on any multi cell mod, the cloud is prepared in the battery bay before it plays out on the deck.
